Physical Education Teacher

About the role

Deira International School (DIS) is seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join its well‑resourced PE department. You will deliver a comprehensive PE curriculum to students aged 3‑18 and play a key role in promoting lifelong physical activity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging PE lessons across Early Years, Primary and Secondary phases.
• Contribute to the school’s extra‑curricular sports programme, coaching teams and organising competitions.
• Maintain and manage sports equipment and facilities to ensure safety and optimal use.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with the broader curriculum.
• Support the holistic development of a diverse student body representing over 90 nationalities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated enthusiasm for physical education and student wellbeing.
• Experience teaching PE in an international school setting or similar environment.
• Ability to work effectively with a multicultural student community.
• Commitment to contributing to both curriculum and extra‑curricular activities.
