Physiotherapist (UAE National)

About the role

The Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammad Medical City is seeking a qualified UAE National Physiotherapist to deliver comprehensive, evidence‑based physiotherapy services. The role combines direct patient care with supervisory and managerial duties within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective physiotherapy treatment using manual techniques, electrotherapy, patient education, appliances and exercise programs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate individualized treatment plans, set prognoses and discharge plans.
• Supervise junior staff, ensure adherence to policies, manage inventory of supplies and equipment, and report shortages.
• Travel with patients within and outside the UAE for treatment, perform home physiotherapy visits, and act as interpreter when bilingual.
• Maintain safe use of electrotherapy, gym, pool equipment and patient aids, ensuring competency of assistants.

Required profile

• UAE National with a recognized physiotherapy qualification.
• Proven experience in clinical assessment, treatment planning and delivery for complex cases.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff and deputize for senior physiotherapists.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for patient care.
• Strong communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and patients with communication challenges.
