Physiotherapy In Charge

About the role

NMC Healthcare is hiring a Physiotherapy In Charge in Abu Dhabi. The role delivers high-quality, safe and evidence-based physiotherapy services while providing day-to-day operational and clinical leadership to the physiotherapy team. It covers service delivery, adherence to clinical standards and regulatory compliance, and optimal patient outcomes through coordinated multidisciplinary care.

Key responsibilities

• Clinical leadership: provide advanced clinical expertise, ensure safe and ethical patient care, allocate patients according to therapist competencies, and monitor patient care protocols and outcomes
• Operational management: oversee daily operations, patient flow and referrals, workload and staffing, OSH standards under NMC policy, staff rosters and leave planning, and departmental KPIs
• Team leadership: supervise, mentor and support staff, set objectives, give regular feedback and conduct performance appraisals
• Quality, safety and compliance: ensure regulatory compliance, maintain accurate EMR documentation, take part in quality assurance and audits, and promote infection control
• Service development: help implement policies and guidelines and launch service improvement initiatives
• Resource and financial management: support efficient resource use and contribute to productivity and revenue targets
• Collaboration: liaise with the multidisciplinary team and stakeholders, coordinate schedules and appointments, and assist with budgeting, equipment management and resource planning

Required profile

• Valid UAE license (DOH/DHA/MOH)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
• Minimum 8 years of clinical experience in a reputable hospital setting
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Experience in multidisciplinary settings
• Fluent English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
