Physiotherapy Technician – Rehabilitation (STMC)

About the role

We are seeking a Physiotherapy Technician to support safe, effective and evidence‑based physiotherapy services within our rehabilitation department, working under the supervision of senior physiotherapists.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy treatment programs using evidence‑based protocols under direction of a physiotherapist.
• Monitor patient progress, adapt treatment plans and keep senior staff informed.
• Take patient measurements (body size, seating posture, etc.) to match equipment needs.
• Assess environmental factors such as home layout and building access when required.
• Inspect and monitor all department equipment, flagging maintenance or breakdowns.
• Record clinical information in line with policies and procedures.
• Escort patients within the UAE and provide interpretation when bilingual.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of rehabilitation and physiotherapy equipment, and assist with minor repairs.
• Ensure strict confidentiality of patient information and compliance with safety and infection‑control regulations.
• Demonstrate and teach safe use of equipment to patients or carers within competency limits.
• Assist in training students as needed.
