Pilates & Fitness Coach

About the role

The Pilates & Fitness Coach will join JW Marriott’s wellness team in Dubai, delivering personalized exercise programs and ensuring a safe, enjoyable recreation environment for guests. This full‑time position combines fitness instruction, guest services, and facility management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess guests’ current fitness levels and design individualized Pilates and fitness programs.
• Provide fitness counseling and demonstrate correct use of exercise equipment.
• Register, schedule, and coordinate recreation activities and equipment rentals.
• Monitor equipment condition, request maintenance, and maintain supplies such as water and cups.
• Promote a welcoming, fun atmosphere while enforcing facility rules for safety and welfare.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance coaching of staff.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, and support individuals with disabilities.
• Handle telephone inquiries, process payments, and maintain accurate records using POS systems.
• Inspect tools and equipment for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Physical capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and reach overhead and below knee level.
• Professional appearance, strong confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
