Pipeline Engineer – ArcGIS Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Pipeline Engineer – ArcGIS Specialist to join Technip Energies in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Head of Department, the role combines pipeline design, GIS routing, and coordination with statutory authorities for on‑shore and off‑shore projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review pipeline drawings in accordance with ADNOC Drawing Office Procedure (DOP).
• Perform drafting tasks using ArcGIS and AutoCAD with minimal supervision.
• Ensure drawings are completed within allocated man‑hours and meet document deadlines.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of drawings before final technical scrutiny.
• Document prints for quality audits and assist the lead designer as required.
• Conduct on‑site visits for both on‑shore and off‑shore projects.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Geo‑Informatics Engineering or GIS.
• Minimum 7 years of pipeline design experience, including at least 5 years with ArcGIS.
• Proven experience preparing pipeline routing in ArcGIS and obtaining ROW/NOC approvals.
• Strong knowledge of survey methods and coordinate systems.
• Experience in FEED and EPC phases of projects.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in the Gulf region and familiarity with ADNOC DOP.
