About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pipeline Inspector to join the MERAM LNG Inspection Team within ADNOC’s Pipeline Network Division. The role involves performing inspections, non‑destructive testing, and providing technical support for pipelines, above‑ground piping and static equipment across the LNG network.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections of pipelines, above‑ground piping and static equipment in accordance with ADNOC inspection procedures, HSE standards and maintenance policies.
  • Conduct Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT), including ultrasonic thickness monitoring and scanning, and analyse IPS reports to assess corrosion and defects.
  • Perform dig verifications, internal and external corrosion mapping, and record data in the PIMS software.
  • Coordinate with GIS engineers, specialised inspection contractors and IPS/UT service providers for surveys, data retrieval and analysis.
  • Monitor and witness pipeline repairs, modifications, sleeve welding, composite repairs, valve testing, PSV calibration and coating activities.
  • Inspect on‑stream piping, conduct visual inspections, review field drawings and support hot‑tap operations ensuring code compliance.
  • Participate in Level 1/2 pipeline audits, internal BMS audits and final walk‑downs for new projects.
  • Maintain inspection records, work orders and asset data in SAP Maintenance Management System and Maximo.

Required profile

  • Relevant engineering or technical qualification with proven experience in pipeline inspection and NDT.
  • Strong knowledge of ADNOC inspection procedures, HSE management systems and pipeline integrity standards.
  • Ability to interpret IPS reports, assess corrosion conditions and recommend corrective actions.
  • Experience coordinating with contractors, GIS teams and audit groups.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi and travel to field locations as required.
