Piping Engineer – Fabrication (Full‑time)

About the role

Archirodon is seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to lead fabrication activities on a major Oil & Gas EPC project in the UAE. The role is based in the Abu Dhabi site office and involves close coordination with engineering, procurement, QA/QC and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret piping isometrics, P&IDs, GA drawings, specifications and work packs.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise all piping fabrication tasks to meet project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with codes such as ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX, API and ASTM.
• Prepare and review fabrication work packages, material take‑offs and bills of materials.
• Supervise pipe cutting, fit‑up, welding, spool fabrication, assembly and dimensional inspection.
• Monitor progress, productivity and quality, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinate NDT, PWHT, hydro‑testing and other inspection activities per project specifications.
• Manage material identification, traceability, storage and handling throughout fabrication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 13–16 years of piping fabrication experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, petrochemical, LNG or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes, welding procedures and inspection standards.
