Placement Broker – Construction Practice

About the role

Marsh is looking for a Placement Broker to join its Construction Practice team in the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC). The role focuses on designing, placing and servicing complex construction insurance programs across the IMEA region.

Key responsibilities

• Design and place insurance and reinsurance solutions for large construction projects, covering CAR, EAR, DSU, TPL and related products.
• Obtain, analyse and compare coverage terms from insurers and reinsurers, and prepare placement recommendations.
• Present insurance solutions to clients and advisors, negotiate terms and secure optimal capacity.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurance markets, monitor market trends and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Support senior leadership in managing client portfolios, responding to RFPs, and developing renewal strategies.
• Oversee policy administration, including quotations, premium calculations, certificates, invoices and accounting records.

Required profile

• Professional experience of at least four years (48 months) in insurance, preferably with a focus on construction risk.
• Demonstrated ability to work with clients, insurers, reinsurers and internal experts to deliver tailored solutions.
• Strong understanding of construction insurance products and market dynamics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI‑enabled tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Applications.
