Planning Engineer (Civil/MEP)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our high‑rise construction team. The role focuses on creating and maintaining project schedules for civil and MEP works, ensuring timely delivery of tower projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and regularly update detailed project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress against the approved schedule and flag variances.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports for internal and client review.
• Develop look‑ahead and recovery programmes to keep critical activities on track.
• Coordinate scheduling information with construction, engineering, procurement and subcontractor teams.
• Identify potential delays, support delay analysis and prepare Extension of Time (EOT) submissions.
• Participate in progress and coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of planning experience with a main contractor, preferably on high‑rise tower projects.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and proven ability to manage complex schedules.
• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
