Planning Manager

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead the end‑to‑end planning function for real‑estate development projects, overseeing master programmes from concept through handover. The role ensures schedules align with development strategy, timelines and business objectives while coordinating closely with design, procurement, commercial and construction teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated master programmes covering design, approvals, procurement, construction and handover.
• Prepare pre‑tender and post‑tender schedules, review contractor programmes and ensure baseline alignment.
• Lead planning inputs during design development to guarantee feasibility and proper sequencing.
• Monitor progress against baselines, conduct critical‑path and delay analysis, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate regular programme review meetings with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain consistent planning standards, methodologies and documentation across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in project planning within real‑estate development, consultancy or contractor environments.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority approval processes and development timelines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex schedules simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capability.
