Planning Manager

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead the planning and scheduling activities for construction projects, ensuring realistic contract durations and delivering baseline schedules that align with SOPs and contractual agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Define realistic contract durations for management, proposal, and estimation teams.
• Develop and maintain the overall project schedule, supporting client approval of schedule baselines and progress claims.
• Increase team awareness of milestones, critical paths, and main durations.
• Monitor project status, detect delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Estimate delays linked to changes or claims and prepare Extension of Time analyses.
• Provide project feedback, lessons learned, and improve planning methods.
• Act as the single point of accountability for all planning and scheduling activities.
• Manage the planning team operationally and highlight concerns with solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of relevant experience in project planning or scheduling.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to detect schedule variances.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
