Planning Manager

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead all planning, scheduling and project control activities across the organization, ensuring projects meet contractual timelines, resource requirements and performance standards. This role provides accurate forecasting, proactive progress monitoring and timely reporting to support senior management decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Implement project planning, scheduling and control using Primavera, MS‑Project and other approved software.
• Coordinate with Tender, Contracts and Project Management teams to prepare programmes, resource and cash‑flow analyses, and time‑claim documentation.
• Monitor subcontractors’ programmes, prepare periodical project reports and analyse progress on site.
• Attend client/consultant progress meetings, explain delays and propose remedial measures.
• Evaluate and update manpower planning in collaboration with CTO, COO and HR.
• Conduct performance appraisals for senior and junior planning engineers.
• Promote QHSE and ISMS policies and ensure compliance with the Integrated Management System.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a reputable university.
• Over 18 years of experience in planning, scheduling and project control.
• Professional certifications such as Primavera‑6, PMP, QS and MMUP.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, conduct delay analysis and handle claims.
