Plant Engineer – Power & Water Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for Plant Engineers to support engineering review of plant systems and equipment across major infrastructure projects. The role involves reviewing designs, coordinating interfaces, and supporting commissioning readiness for power and water infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Review plant engineering designs and equipment submissions to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Review layouts, specifications and technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate plant interfaces with civil, electrical and control systems to ensure seamless integration.
• Review vendor documentation and technical changes, assessing impact on the overall design.
• Support commissioning‑readiness reviews, preparing the plant for successful start‑up.
• Review as‑built and handover documentation to confirm that the constructed plant matches the design.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews, collaborating with various engineering disciplines.

Required profile

• Experience in plant engineering within power, water, utilities or industrial infrastructure sectors.
• Strong EPC design‑review experience, demonstrating ability to assess complex engineering packages.
• Knowledge of major plant equipment, interfaces and commissioning requirements.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination capability, working effectively with civil, electrical and control teams.
