Plant Manager – Operations & Manufacturing

About the role

Responsible for operations in the plant organization, ensuring smooth end‑to‑end supply‑chain performance and timely delivery of quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the Oracle manufacturing system.
• Oversee vendor selection, evaluation, and development programmes.
• Manage logistics, inventory control, and up‑country stock points.
• Ensure plant safety, loss control and compliance with Group and local HSE regulations.
• Plan production to meet sales orders, inventory targets and quality standards.
• Develop and execute CAPEX budgets and contracts within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with HSE authorities for safety audits.
• Maintain optimal liaison with third‑party/toll manufacturing customers.

Required profile

• University degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of experience in the lubricant or related industry, with at least 7–10 years in production, logistics or quality systems.
• Strong people‑management skills with a focus on training and motivation.
• Demonstrated ability to formulate strategic plant development plans.
