Plumber - 5-Star Resort

About the role

Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island, a 5-star resort in Ras Al Khaimah, is hiring a Plumber. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair the property's plumbing systems and equipment so that guests and staff have a safe, efficient and comfortable environment. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, pumps, valves, faucets, pipes, fixtures and sanitary equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to keep all plumbing installations running efficiently.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, leaks, blockages and maintenance requests.
• Inspect the property for plumbing issues and safety hazards and act immediately when needed.
• Monitor water systems and equipment to ensure they meet operational standards.
• Assist guests about property facilities in a professional and helpful way.
• Coordinate and prioritise daily maintenance tasks and support other departments with their requests.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards and company policies.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and report major repairs to the Engineering team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, drainage networks, pumps and sanitary fixtures.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programmes and safety procedures.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and building maintenance systems is an advantage.
