Plumber – Engineering & Facilities

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a qualified Plumber to join its Engineering & Facilities team in Dubai. The role involves handling routine plumbing tasks, preventative maintenance, and supporting the hotel’s guest services through reliable plumbing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Unclog drains and resolve minor plumbing issues.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings; measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe as required.
• Perform leak detection by filling pipes or fixtures with water or air.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Adhere to company safety policies and report hazards.
• Assist with moving and lifting objects up to 75 lb, and support heavier lifts as needed.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school education.
• At least 2 years of related plumbing experience.
• Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator License and Plumber Certification.
• No supervisory experience required.
