Plumber

About the role

Join Hilton’s engineering team in Ras Al Khaimah as a Plumber, ensuring the hotel’s water and drainage systems operate flawlessly to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, sewage, and plumbing systems throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to plumbing faults, leaks, blockages, low water pressure and other maintenance requests.
• Carry out preventive maintenance of pipes, valves, pumps, water heaters, tanks, toilets, showers, sinks and related equipment.
• Inspect plumbing systems regularly and identify potential issues before they become major breakdowns.
• Repair and maintain sanitary fixtures, faucets, flush valves, mixers and other plumbing fittings.
• Support the Engineering team during renovations, room maintenance and new installations.
• Monitor water tanks, pumps and related systems, reporting abnormalities to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Maintain proper drainage systems and ensure wastewater and sewage lines function effectively.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, F&B, Stewarding and other departments to resolve plumbing‑related issues.
• Maintain stock of plumbing tools, spare parts and materials, reporting requirements to the supervisor.
• Follow hotel safety procedures, preventive maintenance schedules and local regulations.
• Keep work areas clean and safe after completing tasks and assist in emergency situations such as major leaks or pipe bursts.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month of practical plumbing experience.
• Ability to work in a hotel environment and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Commitment to safety, preventive maintenance and Hilton’s hospitality values.
