Plumber

About the role

Fairmont Dubai, a hotel in the business heart of Dubai, is hiring a Plumber reporting to the Director of Engineering. The role covers the repair, maintenance and installation of plumbing systems and equipment, and is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and install work according to departmental procedures.
• Install and repair PVC water and drainage piping, copper piping/tubing and GI pipe work.
• Carry out brazing, welding and gas cutting work.
• Install and repair sanitary equipment, PRV stations, valves and pumping stations, water tanks and their accessories.
• Maintain chillers, freezers, split units, AHUs and fan coils.
• Complete requests in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.

Required profile

• Minimum of two years' experience in the same position.
• Trade certificate in Plumbing.
• Ability to repair and maintain plumbing activities.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and use of test equipment.
• Physical demands: frequent standing, walking, lifting and carrying, kneeling, pushing, pulling and sitting, and occasional climbing of ladders, stairs and ramps.
