PMC Director, Data Centre Sector Lead

About the role

Gleeds builds resilient data centres for end users and developers, working with most major data centre companies on new construction, retrofits, refits and expansions. This is a career-defining opportunity for a well-networked data centre professional to join as a senior member of Gleeds Arabia, responsible for developing and growing the data centre business in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and the wider GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Secure and lead data centre PMC commissions
• Manage client relationships and develop new business
• Deliver whole-project lifecycle PMC consultancy services
• Represent the company as an ambassador and act as a senior member of the leadership team

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in project management and/or cost management consultancy
• 2+ years of GCC project experience living
• Specialist knowledge of the data centre sector in the GCC and globally
• Track record of developing new business streams and winning new clients
• Degree in Project Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Fluent English

Required skills

• Extensive experience leading PMC and cost consultancy
• Proven ability to interface with data centre clients and key stakeholders at the highest level
• Excellent organisational skills and quick adaptation to changing environments
• Proficient networker; able to motivate others
