PMC Lead Pipeline Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead Pipeline Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team and support the ADNOC offshore project. The role is based at the client’s office and involves overseeing the planning, execution and management of pipeline construction activities while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, scheduling and execution of offshore pipeline construction projects.
• Coordinate daily operations with the client office and internal PMC team.
• Monitor project performance, cost, and schedule, and report progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage resources, subcontractors and interfaces to optimise project efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven track record in construction pipeline engineering, preferably on offshore oil & gas projects.
• Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum).
• Strong leadership and communication skills to work on‑site with the client.
• Experience with high‑profile energy clients such as ADNOC.
