PMC Lead Planning & Cost Control Engineer

About the role

Wood is recruiting a PMC Lead Planning & Cost Control Engineer to support the ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi. The position will be based at the client’s office in Abu Dhabi and will focus on cost control, estimation and contract administration for large‑scale oil and gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop contractual requirements for cost control, estimation, invoicing and variations (FEED, PMC, EPC) and embed them in tender documents and agreements.
• Evaluate technical bids, provide clarifications, prepare technical evaluation reports and finalize contract documents.
• Analyse variation requests and contractor claims, produce counter‑estimates and recommend approvals.
• Prepare AFE/AFOU submissions for ongoing projects and obtain management approval.
• Coordinate with Project Control Managers of all PMCs to ensure compliance with project control procedures.
• Ensure cost charges are allocated to the correct account codes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of oil and gas experience, including 5 years in a similar cost‑control role.
• Mandatory experience on ADNOC offshore projects.
• Proven experience working on offshore projects.
