PMC Project Manager – Offshore Development (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

KBR Engineering Inc is expanding its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a high‑profile offshore development for ADNOC in Abu Dhabi. Based in the contractor’s office in Mussafah, the PMC Project Manager will lead the multidisciplinary team to ensure the EPC/EPCI contractor delivers the project in line with ADNOC’s requirements, schedule, budget and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership to the PMC and multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary interface with ADNOC Offshore, EPC/EPCI contractors and key stakeholders.
• Oversee all phases of project execution – engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, offshore installation, hook‑up, commissioning, start‑up and hand‑over.
• Monitor contractor performance against schedules, cost forecasts and quality requirements, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships, delivering regular progress, risk and cost updates.
• Lead HSE and quality compliance, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring contractor adherence to ADNOC standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Extensive senior‑level experience in oil & gas, particularly on major offshore projects and client‑side PMC roles.
• Proven track record supervising EPC/EPCI contractors and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial, contractual and risk‑management awareness.
