PMO Analyst – Project & Portfolio Management (UAE National)

About the role

The PMO Analyst will support project and portfolio management activities across Al Futtaim’s diverse business units, providing data‑driven insights, improving processes and leveraging AI to enhance decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support project planning, tracking, reporting and governance across the project portfolio.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, action trackers and portfolio dashboards.
• Monitor progress against scope, schedule, budget, resources and KPIs.
• Prepare regular management and executive‑level status reports.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees and portfolio reviews.
• Identify and follow up on key actions, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with PMO standards, processes and reporting requirements.
• Analyze project and portfolio data to spot trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain Power BI and Excel dashboards and management reports.
• Use AI tools for reporting automation, risk identification and documentation.
• Explore and implement AI‑enabled solutions for forecasting and issue analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, IT, Data Analytics or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in PMO, project management, business analysis or portfolio management.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or PMI‑PMOCP.
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum or hybrid project methodologies.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Power Automate, SQL and Python for automation and data handling.
• Proficiency with AI tools to support forecasting, risk analysis and documentation.
