PMO Project Manager – Directed Energy

About the role

EDGE Group is seeking a PMO Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within its Directed Energy portfolio. The role will plan, execute and deliver corporate projects while ensuring strict adherence to the PMO governance framework and alignment with the company’s long‑term goals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project controls and track key metrics (KPIs) such as schedule variance and quality.
• Ensure vendor agreements, SLAs and SOWs align with project goals, risk limits and budgets.
• Monitor vendor performance against contractual deadlines, milestones and quality thresholds.
• Control contract scope creep and manage formal approvals for any changes.
• Prepare weekly or monthly progress reports for steering committees and senior leadership.
• Manage individual project budgets, forecast costs and calculate monetary risks.
• Lead the full project lifecycle from charter initiation to closing and lessons‑learned documentation.
• Coordinate scheduling, planning and final acceptance testing (FAT/SAT, TRR) activities.
• Collaborate with end‑users and internal stakeholders to capture technical requirements and monitor installation status.
• Ensure all reporting complies with corporate and state security regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the defence industry, working within agile or hybrid development cycles.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on project management experience in a structured corporate PMO environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or System Engineering (CSEP) certification preferred.
