Podiatrist – Full‑Time Position in Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Podiatrist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, treating and preventing foot, ankle and lower‑extremity disorders while adhering to DOH regulations and international clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat foot, ankle and lower‑limb conditions.
• Manage diabetic foot complications, ulcers, neuropathy and vascular disease.
• Perform routine podiatric procedures such as nail surgery, callus removal, debridement and treatment of fungal infections.
• Evaluate and manage musculoskeletal and biomechanical disorders; prescribe orthotics and footwear modifications.
• Conduct gait analysis and develop rehabilitation plans.
• Carry out minor podiatric surgeries within granted clinical privileges.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists, orthopedic and vascular surgeons, physiotherapists and wound‑care nurses.
• Educate patients on foot care, injury prevention and long‑term management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from a recognized institution.
• Valid DOH license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Post‑graduate training or specialization in podiatry is preferred.
• International certifications in diabetic foot care, wound management, biomechanics or sports podiatry are an advantage.
