Polisher – Hotel Maintenance

Exceptional hospitality starts with you. As a Polisher at the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, you will keep finishes throughout the hotel well‑maintained and visually appealing, creating memorable experiences for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Apply polishing paints and coatings to floors, walls, furniture and other surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding or buffing to ensure optimal adhesion.
• Select appropriate paints and coatings based on surface type and desired appearance.
• Use brushes, rollers, sprayers and polishing machines safely and effectively.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and touch up imperfections.
• Coordinate with the engineering team to schedule and prioritize projects.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow health‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience and expertise in polishing a variety of surfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to achieve high‑quality finishes.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used for polishing.
• Experience using painting and polishing equipment such as brushes, rollers, sprayers and polishing machines.
