Polisher & Painter – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Polisher cum Painter will join the engineering and maintenance team at a luxury beachfront resort. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on maintaining the high aesthetic standards of guest areas and back‑of‑house spaces through polishing, painting and surface finishing.

Key responsibilities

• Polish, grind and refinish furniture, fixtures and decorative elements to a flawless finish.
• Prepare surfaces, mix paints, stains and finishes, and apply them according to brand specifications.
• Perform minor touch‑ups and corrective work across guest‑facing and service areas.
• Use hand tools safely, follow maintenance schedules and adhere to safety and brand guidelines.
• Support other engineering team members, keep work areas clean and organized, and respond promptly to service requests.

Required profile

• Strong polishing and grinding abilities with a focus on high‑quality results.
• Proficiency in safe use of hand tools for polishing and painting tasks.
• Experience in quality control to ensure work meets brand and safety standards.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and assist in training team members.
• Previous experience in painting, surface finishing or maintenance in hospitality or a similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, read instructions or drawings, and manage time effectively.
• Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
