Pool Attendant – Recreation Experience Expert

About the role

Le Meridien is seeking a Pool Attendant who will act as the primary point of contact for guests using the hotel’s recreation facilities. The role involves informing guests about pools, beach, fitness centre, and other activities, encouraging participation, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide information on all recreation facilities and promote guest participation in pool, beach, fitness, and entertainment areas.
• Register guests for activities, manage schedules, and handle point‑of‑sale transactions for rentals and facility fees.
• Monitor safety, enforce rules, respond to emergencies, and assist injured guests until medical help arrives.
• Maintain cleanliness of pools and related equipment, and support private functions held in recreation spaces.
• Report accidents, complete safety training, and uphold company policies and uniform standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certifications; any additional certifications required by local authorities.
• No prior experience or supervisory experience required.
