Pool & Beach Attendant – Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pool & Beach Attendant to join Sofitel Al Hamra Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests at the pool and beach areas while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously upon arrival and departure, creating a warm atmosphere.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and needs with professionalism.
• Set up and maintain beach beds, cabanas, sunbeds, umbrellas, and towel stations according to company standards.
• Keep pool and beach areas consistently clean, organized, and well‑maintained throughout the day.
• Provide clean towels and amenities, manage inventory and restock supplies efficiently.
• Fold and pack umbrellas and equipment in the evenings for proper storage.
• Monitor safety standards, reporting any hazardous conditions immediately.
• Follow all company policies, grooming standards, and attend mandatory meetings and training.
• Support other departments as needed to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational hospitality training.
• 1–3 years experience as a Pool & Beach Attendant or similar role in a 4‑5 star hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality service standards and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina for extended outdoor work.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and shifts.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team.
