Pool & Beach Lifeguard – Resort

About the role

Join the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa team as a Pool & Beach Lifeguard. You will ensure the safety of guests in both pool and beach environments while delivering exceptional service in a world‑class hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pool, beach and surrounding areas to guarantee guest safety.
• Enforce safety rules and maintain a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, signage and safety gear.
• Report water‑quality or maintenance issues to engineering.
• Assist with setting up sun loungers, towels and other guest amenities.
• Keep poolside and beach areas clean and hygienic.
• Support recreational activities and deliver outstanding guest service.

Required profile

• Valid Lifeguard certification recognized by UAE authorities or internationally.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous lifeguard experience in a hotel, resort or beach club is preferred.
• Strong swimming ability and high physical fitness.
• Alert, calm under pressure and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
