Pool Plant Operator

About the role

The Cove Rotana Resort in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a dedicated Pool Plant Operator to manage the operation and maintenance of its swimming pool facilities. You will ensure water quality, safety and compliance with health regulations while delivering a high‑standard experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pool plant equipment including pumps, filters, chlorinators and chemical feed systems.
• Monitor, test and adjust chemical levels to maintain proper disinfection and pH balance.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and facilities, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Record water quality data, chemical usage and maintenance activities accurately.
• Respond to guest inquiries or complaints regarding pool water quality.
• Assist with general pool cleaning and upkeep as required.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Pool Plant Operator or in a similar maintenance role.
• Good understanding of water chemistry and treatment methods.
• Certification in pool operation or water treatment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
