Portfolio Analytics Manager

About the role

The Portfolio Analytics Manager will support the Bank’s credit risk oversight by delivering comprehensive analytics, risk monitoring and high‑quality reporting to senior management, committees and the Board. The role also ensures accurate regulatory reporting to the Central Bank of the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse the credit risk portfolio across dimensions such as sector, geography, product, rating and IFRS 9 staging, identifying emerging risks and concentration points.
• Prepare and present credit risk reports and dashboards for senior management, risk committees and the Board, ensuring consistency of definitions and commentary.
• Coordinate and submit regulatory credit risk reports to the CBUAE, maintaining controls, reconciliation and documentation.
• Drive automation and standardisation of reporting processes, developing analytical tools, Power BI dashboards and data‑quality rules.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in banking credit risk management, portfolio analytics or regulatory reporting.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk metrics, asset quality, IFRS 9 staging and ECL provisioning.
• Proven ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into actionable risk insights for senior stakeholders.

• Advanced SQL and data‑manipulation techniques.
• ETL/Data pipeline design.
• Power BI dashboard development.
• SAS or Python for data analysis and automation.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
