Portfolio Manager – Fire & Lifeboat Portfolio

About the role

Survitec is seeking a Portfolio Manager with global responsibility for the commercial performance, strategy and lifecycle of its Fire and Lifeboat portfolio. You will shape growth, combine market insight with product and pricing strategy, and work across multiple functions to turn opportunities into profitable propositions.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end strategy for products, services and rental offerings aligned with Survitec’s growth objectives.
• Set positioning and value propositions across the 4 P’s (Product, Price, Place/Channels, Promotion).
• Own the full product lifecycle from concept through introduction, growth, maturity and decline, managing end‑of‑life with minimal disruption.
• Monitor portfolio performance metrics such as revenue, margin, mix and service attach rate.
• Develop and guard pricing strategy, conduct annual price reviews and address margin leakage.
• Design and optimise offering propositions based on customer, market and competitive research.
• Run voice‑of‑customer programs and feed insights into product lifecycle management.
• Review new offering or variant requests with Engineering and ensure compliance with stage‑gate NPD processes.
• Support sales enablement and knowledge‑sharing tools in collaboration with Technical Sales.
• Prepare and present portfolio reviews and executive updates for the Portfolio Board.

Required profile

• Proven experience in portfolio or product management within a commercial environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate market insights into profitable strategies.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with engineering, sales, service and operations.
• Ability to manage complex product lifecycles and make end‑of‑life decisions.
