Post-Doctoral Associate – Brain & Health Research

About the role

The Perception and Active Cognition laboratory seeks a Post‑Doctoral Associate to investigate the neural mechanisms of mental processing speed. The role involves integrating functional and structural MRI with simultaneous fMRI‑EEG recordings to understand speed of processing in health and disease.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a project linking processing‑speed measures to existing functional and structural MRI datasets.
• Conduct simultaneous fMRI and EEG data acquisition and co‑registration.
• Combine neuroimaging data with behavioral, genetic, and clinical measures to assess health outcomes.
• Collaborate with PhD‑level scientists, graduate and undergraduate students in a multidisciplinary environment.

Required profile

• PhD in psychology, cognitive neuroscience or a related field, awarded within the past five years.
• Strong neuroimaging data‑processing expertise.
• Eligibility for a postdoctoral appointment (≤5 years since PhD).
