About the role
The Applied Computational Engineering laboratory seeks a Post‑Doctoral Associate to develop and investigate fiber‑reinforced polymer‑concrete architected composites, driving projects on advanced material mechanics.
Key responsibilities
- Develop numerical models and conduct experimental testing of architected composites.
- Collaborate with PhD, senior researchers, and students in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Investigate static, fatigue, and dynamic loading phenomena for applications in mechanical, civil, aerospace, and bioengineering sectors.
Required profile
- PhD in Engineering or a related field awarded within the past 5 years.
- Strong background in manufacturing, experimental methods, and numerical analysis.
Required skills
- Proficiency in programming.
- Experience with Abaqus.
- Experience with Ansys.
