Power BI Specialist

About the role

Currie & Brown is seeking a Power BI Specialist to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will collaborate with project, commercial and business units to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that support decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Build robust data models, write DAX measures and calculations.
• Use Power Query to transform, clean and prepare data from multiple sources.
• Gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
• Develop dashboards covering project performance, cost management, financial and operational KPIs.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and quality across all reporting solutions.
• Optimise existing reports for performance and usability.
• Automate manual reporting processes and identify efficiency improvements.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, security and access as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues on Power BI and data visualisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven professional experience developing Power BI solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy.
• Experience in construction consultancy, engineering, property, infrastructure or professional services is preferred.
