PPA Specialist / IPP Technical Contracts Specialist

About the role

Egis Group is seeking a specialist to act as the technical advisor for Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Independent Power Producer (IPP) contract scopes during developer bid reviews and RFP/specification preparation. The role involves leading technical due diligence, ensuring compliance with project and off‑taker requirements, and supporting contract negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory support for PPA/IPP contracts during bid review and RFP preparation.
• Lead technical due diligence, verify compliance, identify risks and deviations, and prepare clarifications.
• Support technical evaluation, contribute to contract schedules and negotiation processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Professional registration, chartership, or OEM/utility/off‑taker experience preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in IPP procurement, PPA technical schedules, owner’s engineer, utility/off‑taker advisory, or EPC contract management.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of IPP/PPA structures, technical schedules, capacity and availability obligations, performance guarantees, liquidated damages, testing and acceptance, dispatch obligations, and fuel/water interfaces.
• Ability to read, analyse and comment on IPP/PPA/EPC technical schedules, guarantees, LD‑linked performance clauses, interface obligations and acceptance testing requirements.
