PR / External Communications Manager

About the role

We are seeking a PR / External Communications Manager to shape and strengthen the public reputation of a global portfolio of digital products. Based in the United Arab Emirates and working fully remote, you will develop and execute PR initiatives, thought‑leadership content, and reputation‑management strategies that increase brand awareness and visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute PR and external communications initiatives that support product reputation and broader marketing goals.
• Design creative, potentially viral PR campaigns from concept through measurement.
• Manage online reputation through paid placements, Search Engine Reputation Management (SERM), and branded search monitoring.
• Write, edit, and oversee high‑quality press materials, SEO‑focused articles, thought‑leadership pieces, and executive communications.
• Oversee creation and publication of user reviews to enhance brand perception.
• Coordinate external vendors, PR agencies, freelancers, and other communication partners.
• Support C‑level executives’ public profiles by preparing content, identifying media opportunities, and managing engagements.
• Assist with event planning, messaging, and communications activities as needed.
• Partner with Marketing, SEO, Legal, and internal stakeholders on reputation and brand‑protection initiatives.
• Contribute to crisis communications and issues‑management efforts.

Required profile

• Professional experience in PR, external communications, corporate communications, reputation management, or a closely related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and channels.
• Strong understanding of Search Engine Reputation Management (SERM) and online reputation‑management practices.
• Good knowledge of SEO principles and demonstrated ability to create SEO‑focused content.
