Pre Sales Consultant – Open Source & Virtualization

About the role

As a Presales Consultant focusing on Open Source and Virtualization, you will help customers and partners across the UAE design, position, and adopt modern infrastructure solutions that drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as technical advisor for Open Source and Virtualization solutions throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with sales teams, vendors, and partners to develop scalable infrastructure, cloud, and automation architectures.
• Deliver presentations, workshops, demos, proof‑of‑concepts and solution assessments addressing customer challenges.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and help shape go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in presales, solutions architecture, systems engineering or consulting with a focus on virtualization, Linux, cloud or open‑source technologies.
• Ability to manage technical projects independently, influence stakeholders and work effectively with sales, engineering and partner teams.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Red Hat, Ubuntu, SUSE, OpenShift, Kubernetes, VMware, KVM and related virtualization technologies.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure solutions and Linux operating systems.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat, Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware) are highly valued.
