Pricing Actuary – UAE & Bahrain

About the role

The Pricing Actuary will lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies for the Personal Lines Motor portfolio across the UAE and Bahrain. You will combine technical model outputs, market insights, and portfolio data to deliver best‑in‑class, commercially competitive pricing while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver technically robust, commercially competitive pricing strategies for personal lines motor.
• Build, maintain and enhance GLM and machine‑learning burn‑cost pricing models, applying bias‑control and appropriate frequency‑severity distributions.
• Overlay strategic and commercial considerations on model outputs to produce final go‑to‑market pricing recommendations.
• Support the pricing and development of new products in both UAE and Bahrain.
• Produce accurate, timely pricing model outputs, monitoring reports and regulatory pricing submissions.
• Implement go‑to‑market pricing changes in the pricing engine within required timelines.
• Collaborate closely with underwriting, portfolio, finance and risk management teams to align pricing decisions with business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) of actuarial experience, preferably in motor personal lines.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate technical results into commercial recommendations.
• Good understanding of regulatory pricing requirements and product registration processes in the UAE and Bahrain.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with underwriting, finance and risk teams.
