About the role

GEMS International School, Dubai Hills seeks an experienced Primary Inclusion Teacher to join its dynamic team from January 2027. The role involves delivering inquiry‑based learning within an IB framework while fostering an inclusive environment for diverse learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that nurtures individual strengths and learning styles.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to meet diverse needs, including EAL, gifted and additional‑support learners.
• Integrate technology and innovative approaches to enhance learning and engagement.
• Assess, record and communicate student progress, using data to inform personalised support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine IB‑aligned curriculum plans, resources and assessments.
• Contribute to co‑curricular activities, events and community initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with parents and the wider school community.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and reflection.

Required profile

• A certified teaching qualification at degree level (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) in Primary/Inclusion.
• Minimum three years of experience teaching Primary Inclusion, preferably in an IB curriculum school.
• Passion for inspiring young learners through innovative, inquiry‑based teaching.
• Commitment to the school’s vision, energy and educational philosophy.
• Desire to grow professionally within a collaborative, forward‑thinking community.
