Primary KS1 Teacher – August Start

About the role

GEMS FirstPoint School is looking for an outstanding KS1 Primary Teacher to join the team from August 2027. The role involves delivering the British curriculum to young learners and may include middle‑leadership responsibilities for ambitious candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the British curriculum, ensuring high‑quality learning experiences.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and, where appropriate, take on middle‑leadership duties such as curriculum coordination, head of year, ECA coordination or head of careers.

Required profile

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Primary Education or a related subject.
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching primary pupils within the British curriculum, including preparation for GCSE.
