About the role

GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher to join its high‑performing team from January 2026. The school follows a cognitive‑science driven approach and delivers the British National Curriculum to inspire limitless learning.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
• Apply evidence‑informed teaching practices to achieve exceptional learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with the StepLab instructional coaching team and the Cognitive Science Network.
• Contribute to the school’s continuous improvement through professional learning programmes.

Required profile

• Hold a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent qualification in primary education.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
• Demonstrated exceptional subject knowledge and a proven track record of outstanding teaching.
• Experience working within a high‑performing teaching team and commitment to the school’s core values of Ambition, Responsibility and Courage.
