Primary Teacher – Immediate Start at Noya British School

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher for Noya British School on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start date. The role involves delivering the British curriculum to a diverse student body while fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, adapting to a wide ability range.
• Plan and prepare resources, organise classroom displays and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and specialists to design and assess student progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing feedback on achievement and wellbeing.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy, promoting self‑control and independence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (documents must be attested).
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is an additional language.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check and eligibility to reside in the Emirate of the school.
• Commitment to the school’s values, inclusive community and sustainability ethos.
