Primary Teacher

About the role

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher to plan, deliver and assess high‑quality learning experiences for primary‑level students. The role focuses on fostering academic, social, emotional and personal development within a safe, inclusive and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and oversee the primary academic programme.
• Deliver the curriculum using student‑centred, innovative teaching methods.
• Analyse academic results and develop continuous‑improvement plans.
• Coordinate timetables, assessments and school activities.
• Prepare academic and performance reports for the primary section.
• Monitor students’ academic, social and emotional progress and implement support strategies.
• Manage classroom behaviour and promote wellbeing.
• Maintain effective communication with parents and participate in meetings and events.
• Mentor, evaluate and support the primary teaching team, identifying professional‑development needs.
• Participate in recruitment and induction of new teaching staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licence as required by local regulations.
• Minimum experience teaching in primary education (exact years not specified).
• Experience in bilingual or international schools is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management and instructional abilities.
• Commitment to student wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusive practice.
