Principal Engineer – Master Data Management

About the role

The Principal Engineer – MDM provides strategic leadership and governance for enterprise Master Data Management, ensuring trusted, high‑quality master data across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the enterprise MDM strategy, roadmap and governance aligned with business and regulatory priorities.
• Own end‑to‑end MDM services, including the Oracle MDM stack (Siebel UCM, OEDQ, ODI) across domains and geographies.
• Oversee architecture, integration and data flows across core banking, channels and enterprise platforms.
• Establish strong governance, audit readiness and compliance with regulatory expectations (e.g., CBUAE).
• Drive advanced analytics, AI enablement and data monetisation through trusted master data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years in data management / enterprise applications and 8+ years hands‑on with MDM platforms.
• Extensive experience in large‑scale transformation programmes and regulated environments, preferably banking.
• Proven leadership in stakeholder, vendor and global delivery management.

Required skills

• Oracle MDM stack – Siebel UCM, OEDQ, ODI.
• Oracle ecosystem – EBS/Fusion, APIs, Middleware.
• MDM architecture, data modelling, governance and data‑quality frameworks.
• Cloud, infrastructure and enterprise architecture concepts.
