Principal Industrialization & Supply Chain Engineer

About the role

The Industrialization & Supply Chain Engineer will coordinate the entire turbofan supply chain from supplier selection and qualification through to serial production, ensuring certified engines or prototypes are delivered on schedule. This role works closely with Supply Chain, Engineering Manufacturing, Product Management and the Industrialization team to secure a resilient supply chain for the Turbofan department.

Key responsibilities

• Select and qualify suppliers in defined countries and advise on material choices.
• Coordinate make‑or‑buy decisions and supply‑chain strategy to meet delivery plans.
• Manage manufacturing, assembly, test and parts delivery schedules.
• Assess and mitigate risks such as supply shortages, capacity bottlenecks and cost overruns.
• Ensure compliance with international laws, Powertech processes and export‑control rules.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in turbofan propulsion supply‑chain selection/qualification.
• Solid understanding of turbofan architectures, performance drivers and technology interfaces.
• Extensive knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes and their impact on lifetime and repeatability.
• Familiarity with aero‑engine supply‑chain structures and key tier‑1/2 suppliers in Europe/EMEA.
