Principal Insights Analyst – Adoption & Enablement

About the role

The Principal Insights Analyst will deliver analytics and insight use‑cases across multiple business units, helping Emirates become a more data‑driven organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage business engagement from problem definition through data collection, analysis and delivery of insights.
• Deliver complex insight use‑cases with compelling visualisations and narratives that drive actionable outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define measures, metrics and KPIs for analytical products.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of analysts, ensuring domain knowledge and analytical skills are strong.
• Promote a federated Insights & Analytics community to improve self‑service capabilities across the organisation.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Information Technology or related field from an internationally recognised university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT, data analytics or related domains, preferably in large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to work with diverse international teams and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of airline industry data and KPIs is a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SQL, Python and R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Knowledge of data‑warehousing concepts, data lakes and logical data‑modeling techniques (3NF, Data Vault, Star Schema).
• Proficiency with data‑visualisation toolsets.
