Principal Product Manager

About the role

AnalogAnalog is looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead product discovery, roadmap development and backlog quality across multiple delivery teams in a large-scale digital transformation programme. You will translate operator and end-user needs into prioritized releases and ensure teams focus on outcomes rather than just output.

Key responsibilities

• Drive product discovery and create a clear, prioritized roadmap for several delivery teams.
• Maintain high-quality backlogs, ensuring items are well-defined, sized appropriately and linked to measurable outcomes.
• Conduct structured discovery sessions with customers and operators to validate assumptions before engineering commitment.
• Define and track outcome metrics for each release, holding teams accountable for results.
• Align roadmap priorities across teams, resolve trade-offs and sequence decisions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design and the principal solution architect to ensure realistic, technically sound scope.
• Represent the product roadmap to customers, partners and leadership, translating feedback into actionable priorities.
• Provide clear release notes and positioning to support go-to-market and delivery teams.

Required profile

• Significant experience as a Senior or Principal Product Manager owning roadmaps and discovery across multiple teams.
• Proven track record of delivering products that achieve measurable outcomes for operators or end-users.
• Comfortable holding delivery teams accountable for outcomes, not just feature delivery.
• Experience with complex, multi-team platforms, preferably in defence, government or regulated sectors.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Data-informed approach to prioritisation and roadmap decisions.
